I've never thought i would here someone saying that the world is flat but i was wrong. Found this site on another.

These people really beleive the world is flat, that nasa is just part of the big conspiracy. I signed up and looked around, theres alot of other sites and many people who beleive this stuff. :lmfao :lmfao :lmfao :lmfao

wow. they are saying the earth is flat, jerusalum being the center, and the flat earth is surrounded by a 150 foot wall of ice and the government will not let us get anywhere close to the wall of ice. They go on to say that all the planets and stars were placed there by the government and the sun and the moon are the same size and less than 100 miles up in the sky.

This is probably the dumbest thing i have ever heard. It was so dumb, i couldn't get enuff of it, it just goes on an on and just keeps getting dumber. I think they even mentioned that penguins were created by humans. Its just amazing what ppl will think up in their spare time.

It would be interesting to find out what the Flat Earth Society Forum members think of Detail City Forum members.
Just change a few discriptive words around and they both look pertty much similar to me. LOL
 
Is it wrong to sign up and become their most devout member and try to convert the world to the concept of a flat earth? :naughty

That group has been around for many many years! When I was in flight school we had an assignment to write a paper prooving the Earth was flat. I used a lot of their stuff in my argument.

They were founded by the Captain of Columbus' fourth ship.
 
Hey TRUEDETAILER.

Ask them this question. How do you get a shadow on earth. Like a shadow like this.

You cannot get that by having a flat earth. Same as the moon. If it were flat, it would be instant darkness when the sun went down. Not like, when is just got dark, you can still look west and see a lighter sky. It would either be....The whole "flat" world would either be ALL DARK or ALL SUN


EDIT...And ask you you can fly AROUND the world............

We are always around, since April 2004 we have been checking in 2 or 3 times a day. Also when I can't get to sleep at night fast, I just check in with Detail City and start reading. Soon I am ready for bed, LOL. I believe when we frist heard of Detail City there was almost 1500 members and now there are almost 7,000 or 8,000 members. Pertty impressive. We have often been contacted by members that are suprised that we follow many threads, why I don't know. Sorry to hijack this thread from the Flat Earth Society topic. David Wyllie Sr.
