The WAIT is OVER!!!

I got an e-mail from Obsessive Detail yesterday saying the new products were in stock. I just ordered a ton of stuff or I would be placing an order for the new stuff.

I am looking to try the new products. I have had the chance to try out some of the new stuff and here are my thoughts.



So far I have tried the new OCW, the new Protectorant Plus, and the new Tire Shine



OCW-I really couldn't see any diff between the the old version. It is still an awesome product. I really didn't see an increase in gloss or slickness. I guess I have to experiment more.



PP-I love this stuff. Much much better than the original version. Slightly more gloss than 303 or Sonus TE



TS-I really can't get into the OPT tire products. The first version of the TS was very matte and I prefer a more gloss dressing for tires. The new version was glossier but not enough for me. I still find myself going back to Meguiars ASD for tires. I sitll would like to try the gel.



I am still looking to try the new OID. It does like sound like an impressive product from those that have tried it.

Me, I'll just sit and wait once all the hype is done and over with.



Just like others who do not use or never will use Zaino or other products, I'm fine with what I use and have, so it's not an issue for me to run out and purchase some new thing claiming to be a great product. It very well may be for some.



Besides, I have enough products to last a very long time. Between Menzerna polishes and sealants, waxes etc I've got more than enough.



I'm sure the new Optimum products are fine and maybe one day when I meet up with someone I'll see what all the fuss is about. Until then, I'll just be happy with what I use and have for now.



For those of you getting the new products, good luck and hope you enjoy them as much as they are being praised for. I'm sure they will as it seems Optimum's other products seem to get respect as well for being a performer that they are in many hands and eyes.



Hype or not, I'll just wait and see as time will tell once the dust settles.:chuckle:

Very smart! With all the new stuff that comes and goes a guy could go broke trying to keep up. I actually bought a sample pack directly from OPT that had the OCWv.2, OPPv.2, and their tire shine. I would never have just jumped on the bandwagon if I hadn't already tried it first. But after trying it, I decided to buy the wax, qd, and new tire gel. If you guys are interested in try b4 you buy, all I did was contact Dr.G directly through the Optimum Forum and that led to a phone conversation during which Dr. G. himself took my order and CC info. Another thing that may interest Pros is that they offer a case discount of 25% if you buy 4 gallons of any mix of their products. You just can't go wrong if you like Optimum stuff.

Autogeek has the old version of OCW on clearance right now so they must be getting the new stuff within a few days.
