I have to agree with Steve. The best 'all around' paint cleaner I have used is Meguiars DACP. It is moderately aggressive, but it has diminishing abrasives that break down and turn to a light polish as you continue to work it. S100 SEPC/P21S GEPC would be a good product to follow DACP or you could add an intermediate step using Swirl Free Polish (Meguiars).

People (again) seem to have been bamboozled by wierd or misleading product nomenclature. A "paint cleaner" isn't really for cleaning dirt off of paint and it doesn't mean that it's only a chemical cleaner.

Give the man a cigar!! :xyxthumbs

"Paint cleaner" has got to be the most mis-used term here (at least in terms of the "industry" definition of paint cleaner). Some of the blame can go to the way Pinnacle, P21S & Zymol call their light polishes "cleansers".

FI-II is my favorite cleaner (which technically, is still closer to being a swirl-remover/polish & not a paint cleaner/compound).

You missed one - Fare'cla brand. Made in England. One of the finest paint cleaners on the market and their G3 Cutting compound is simply brillliant for new cars.
