The Tornador?

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
I was up at my local detail supplier this AM and he had this device for sale, about $80.00 is what he said. Its for cleaning the inside of the car, combines air and cleaning fluid together, and cuts down big time on cleaning time. He said that the cleaning solution is about $15.00 that will make about 2.5 gallons of fluid. I'm not sure how much that will clean just yet. It looks like a foam gun of sorts. Have a look at this site and you can see a video of it in action

What are your thoughts, I'm going to get one this weekend as a free trail and see how it works

Thanks I thought that I had seen that pic some where before, not sure if I need anything like this but for a free trail I would jump on it for sure

Seems interesting. I would like to see it in action up close, and on a dirty car. Not a clean one like in the video.

I do not think it would be a time saver to us mobile detailers IMHO. Not cost effective either, unless it is extremely fast.

Run the generator to run the air compressor. You will need a good size compressor I imagine to keep pressure constant. Putting wear on 2 machines at once to do one thing. I think I'll stick to the spray bottles.....
But it still seems interesting and I wanna see it up close.....lol

I agree on the car and real dirty kiddie mini van would have impressed me more. I also agree that this is for a fixed location type of application, and higher volume type of places

I actually have one sitting here beside me. It's just been too dang cold to use it. I owe the vendor an honest review and plan on reviewing it in the very near future. It looks like it's pretty well constructed though it is of Chinese manufacture but I can't speak at all to its effectiveness just yet. I have a couple of compressors, I was going to try it with both a pancake compressor as well as a 60 gallon 5 h.p. I didn't think that the turbo cleaner was as much as was being discussed I was told it was $1.5 to $2 (I had to go back and review my email on this) per pack though there may be different quantities available. The package I'm looking at says it mixes to one quart of cleaner. It says it is an enzyme super concentrate for what it's worth. I guess that would make the cost pretty close to what was previously stated. I was also told that one quart of this was enough to clean 2 average size cars.

My boss got me one of these today, he had never seen it before. I just seen the video but thats it.Our detail supplier told us to try it for 2 weeks and let him know how it works. If we like it, we can buy it for $80. If we dont, just bring it back no charge for the solution or anything. So this weekend im going to find the dirtiest car i can and see how it really works. Ill take before and after pics to see what everyone thinks.
