I personally don't like the style of HDR on the cars in this thread (no offense), makes them look CGI, I tend to prefer a more natural tone (similar to what our eyes see), but they are amazing in highlighting detail impossible with a single shot.



Hey no offense taken by the comment. But all of these shots are HDR, you're just talking about the one of the engine bay and the Ford GT I did?

rydawg: Yeah I've gotten to the point where I use it pretty much for everything. It just really gets frustrating in tight spots. Like the before pic of the car. I was all krinkled up in the corner of my garage trying to take that picture. Silly when I have the kit 18-55 in the house!! ;) I've also got a 70-300 I use when needed. It's the real cheap Nikon 70-300, but it works pretty good I think...
