The Term AIO

Just One More Coat
I see the term AIO used allot here....I also see it recommended for many different uses...of which some times to me...they make little sense. Where I understand what AIO is for me, its not a fix all as I have read for some.

The only AIO that I know of are Klasse and PB P-w-C....I'm sure there are more.

Can someone list other AIO products they have used?

Its a real versatile product but I think that its recommend at times for the wrong processes.

To me when the acronym "AIO" is used, I think of Klasse AIO.
Granted there's a lot of all in one products available, but to me, AIO refers to Klasse AIO and not any of the other products.

As far as other all in one products I have used, the list would extremely long.
I think any cleaner/wax would fall into that category.

I think most of the AIO references are to Klasse AIO rather than one of the other all in one products.

It's easy to get lost in the acronym thing though. The first thing I think of when I see APC is Meg's APC+ and I know that most of the time it refers to an entirely different product.

Still not as frustrating as white, blue, red, green, yellow, black, tan, orange, grey pads with no reference to their intended use.:)

I think AIO is used as a specific product. Kind of like UPP or LS or something like that. As far as other products that do the job of AIO there are several. Wolfgang and Four Star Ultimate have pre wax cleaners that do the same thing AIO does. Blackfire does too.

Yeah I think of Klasse when some one refers to AIO. AIO is really just a one step product and there are many out there. My favorite is Vanilla Moose. Yes VM leaves protection behind as well as cleaning the paint so it is a one step product. It's full name is Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze.

:shuriken:

i agree with Charles(meaning when i hear AIO or APC)

i did read some members use AIO for different things for example headlight, wood dash trim(interior use)......

Though I tend not to think of it when I see "AIO", but Meg's ColorX would fit into the category of an all-in-one product. I tend to agree with most everyopne else that when we see AIO in the forums, someone is specifically referring to AIO. Maybe we could all abbreviate it KAIO to be specific. :) Haha.

Really not a bad idea. We are all too lazy to type "Klasse AIO", but maybe KAIO wouldn't be too much of an effort. I'll give it a try.:)

Maybe not a bad idea, but I doubt it would make much ground. I seem to remember you posting a while ago about using a pads aggressivness as an indicator instead of pad color. :) I still agree wholeheartedly with you, but the majority of people still describe their pads by using color. I guess you rubbed off on me about that one - it is annoying to try and decipher a post when pad color is the only mentioned charateristic.

:surrender That pretty much siginifies it. :) Sorry to have gotten a little off topic.
