The Spray Wax That Redefines The Category

One of my favorite spray waxes, Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax, was recently re-formulated and packed full of even more gloss enhancers and advanced UVA and UVB absorbers to provide a level of gloss, slickness and protection that's usually only found in a traditional liquid wax.

I've been using this spray wax at every available opportunity the last couple of weeks and last Sunday was no exception. After a quick wash of my friend's black Corolla, I grabbed a bottle of the new formula Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax and a Griot's Garage Micro Fiber Polish Removal Cloth and got started.

A helpful tip to keep in mind before using any spray wax is to first prime the microfiber towel with a couple sprays of the product. This ensures that you're simply not wiping the wax off the paint when the towel glides across the surface, but rather you're working the wax into the paint. Two or three sprays is all that's needed when starting out with a fresh towel and it guarantees the best coverage from the product that you're using.

The new formula XMT 360 Spray Wax is highly concentrated meaning very little product is required per panel. You will get the best performance from the wax if you're applying it to a cool panel.

I've been using Griot's Garage Micro Fiber Polish Removal Cloths a lot lately for spray waxes and quick detail sprays because they feature a medium nap on one side and a flat weave on the other. The towel never feels like it's dragging across the paint and just like the name of the towel implies, it also works great at removing polish and wax using the side with the flat weave.

You can completely wax a vehicle with the new formula Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax in less than fifteen minutes and still receive months of protection like a traditional liquid wax but in the convenience and ease of use of a spray.

Only so many words can describe the level of shine that the new formula Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax provides, so without further ado, here are some pictures of the end result.

Griot's Garage Micro Fiber Polish Removal Cloths

I've tried several to see if they can out perform Optimum's Spray Car Wax and so far all have failed. Optimum is the best spray car wax on the market and now it looks like we have a new challenger....

I will definitely have to try this as Pinnacle does offer several quality detailing products....:bigups

I'm looking into trying this stuff. It looks pretty good. I'm just waiting on Christmas sales to see how low SSII and Midnight Sun get. :D

I eagerly await your thoughts on the new formula Pinnacle XMT 360 Spray Wax. :D

the dripping wet black on that corolla is making wanna pull the trigger on ordering XMT 360 spray wax.

what do you have under the 360? is it BFWD?

Any chance of getting a different sprayer for this? I would like to try it but not really fond of that type of sprayer.

I don't recall exactly to be honest with you. It's not my vehicle. :inspector:

The wax itself is available in 12 oz, half gallon and gallon sizes and you can empty the contents into a different bottle and utilize your sprayer of choice. :D

Got some of this on BOGO from AG - looking forward to giving it a go, and comparing with the other spray waxes (OCW, UQW, DG AW, and Mothers Reflections) that I have. Be a while before that happens though, need to wait for my box to get shipped over here - sometimes can be hard living half-way around the world...

I'm surprised you like the Griot's Polish Remover MF. I found that the microbanded edge is very course and will mar a surface. I prefer either silk edging, rolled or edgeless. It fails the CD test badly.

Great review. I've tried the product and loved it. It is a great wax and super easy and quick to apply.

I've never had an issue with them and I use them all the time. It's possible you received a couple towels that slipped through the quality control cracks.

I'll be waiting until my current supplies are needing replacement, to order some of this, but from the reviews, definitively on my list of to try products.
