The Pinnacle Souveran Tip

They told me at PINNICLE to put PASTE SOUVERN on top of LIQUID WHICH I did and it looked good deep and wet.I would never think if you did it the other way it would be so bad

Yeah, it makes it look worse. Better to do 2 thin coats of paste.

Your disgust of LS makes me want to send you my bottle of LS just so I can hear you post more complaints about it! :p

Really, I see no point in using LS over Souveran. I think LS has the durability of NXT--about two weeks. It has some cleaning ability I believe (as to be expected from a liquid carnauba). It is slick, provides a average-good look, but it just simply doesn't last. Personally, I have no use for it. I don't want to use it to top anything, I don't want to use it as a 1 step.

Wait, I do have a use for it! I diluted my Eagle One wax as you dry, with 3 parts water 1 part EO, and...I put in a few glops of LS! It kind of boosts the mighty solution now! heh.

~One man’s opinion / observations~

I’ve found that if you allow the paste wax to cross-link for 2-4 hours, before the application of a liquid wax it will produce a deep ‘wet-look’ shine

Also be aware that the both the product and the foam pad may be non-abrasive, but application pressure if not kept to an absolute minimum and using use a very light and even pressure, may re-introduce surface marring and/or removal of the previously applied product due to the high solvent content of the liquid wax.

FWIW: This is usually done for appearance only, not to prolong product (s) durability

~Hope this helps~
