The other new D.A. polisher

I maybe have said too much already. I did have a chance to try the machine out last night (yea I know people-lol) I have asked permission to say more about it. I will if permission is granted. I also have pics I took last night as well.

Well, as you are known not one to "type" many words I doubt you could say too much already ;) plus I somehow doubt you would be in trouble, not just because you know people well, but because if this is relabeled UDM you would not be saying anything that everyone does not already know.

Unless its got more power than the UDM I really dont see the point.

Exactly, if its even so much as an inch below the UDM might as well just toss it and not bother making it.

Knowing megs, they will relable the UDM.

I bet it will have a life time warranty though. Their G100 is just a re labeled PC, but look how many they sell. I would still buy one. They cost more, but if anything goes wrong, they will fix it, most likely without you having to open your wallet.

Well there you go then.

I wonder why it's taking them until Jan 2008 to just put a Meguiar's sticker on a UDM? :D

I'm not gonna fall for Meg's hype again this time and be let down like what happened last fall. Come on Meguiar's, quit going to church for one Sunday and make something innovative already, like a wipe on walk away sealant perhaps!? What a waste of 100+ years of industry knowledge :ignore

A wipe on walk away sealant wouldn't be innovative at this point unless it stood out for some other reason. They're not hyping anything here at all. Relax and let the past be just that.

It would be innovative for the mainstream, consumer market, but yes it wouldn't be anything new. Hype can come in many forms. They did the same thing last year by teasing us about new products and then remaining tight lipped about it until after some show, only to be let down by what they were actually releasing.

You're right about us all needing to relax, because it's not going to be anything groundbreaking. Just go buy a UDM if you need a DA polisher now.

Last year they *hid* the products from you and then they were a let down to *you* but at the same time I'm sure that there were some that welcomed them. I don't see any hype with this machine but rather a warning to those that are about to plop down for the current G100 to wait on the G200?.

Sounds like you and others already have it all figured out. So.............. there you go.

It's OK, Joe, that wasn't meant to steal your spotlight, you don't have to pack your toys, come back and play.
