Wierd, there was another thread about this that I responded to and it was deleted...



I heard that Megs orginally penned the idea/design but I have no idea if this was true.
 
Ehh, just another DA. If it's not better than the UDM. Minus well stop the conversation now.



Doesn't Meguiars have a DA already called the G100?

Trust me, the UDM is noticably more powerful than the PC, plus using a compound and cutting pad, the finish is noticably better too.



Interestingly, I had heard the UDM was going to be the new Meguiars DA buffer so I mentioned to my Meguiars distributor that I had a UDM and what I'd heard. Showed him the machine and told him my positive first impressions (I hadn't had it long at that time). A few weeks later, I get a call from Meguiars wanting to know if I already had one of their new DA buffers and how I got it. :nervous2: Anyway, I related the rumor that I had heard that the UDM was going to be the new Meguiars DA and I didn't actually have a new buffer that said "Meguiars" on it. "No problem" I was told, they just wanted to find out what exactly was going on and if one of their buffers somehow got out to someone early.
 
The new machine will be shipping January of 2008. The details will be launched at the 2007 SEMA show.



I can't wait to see the specs.
 
I maybe have said too much already. I did have a chance to try the machine out last night (yea I know people-lol) I have asked permission to say more about it. I will if permission is granted. I also have pics I took last night as well.
