The MOTHER of Tire Care Sprays?

Early this morning I gave an Audi TT Convertible a quick bath. After I was finished I grabbed a bottle of Mothers Reflections Advanced Tire Care to dress the tires.

If you like a rich, satin finish and prefer a tire dressing in the form of a pump spray, I would definitely recommend giving this stuff a try. It goes on very thin and dries to the touch almost immediately.

Generally you will hear; "There's no shine like Mothers!" but for this particular product I'm going to alter that and say; "There's no satin finish like Mothers!"

I'm very impressed with this product and for the price it's tough to beat. :rockon

I do really like the look of this Stig. Good Call..

Any chance of doing a 50/50 of this and Opti-Bond? Sometimes its hard to get a real feeling for who dark or satin something is.

I've never tried Mother's in tire spray but from the looks of your pictures I'm going to give it a try. I like the sound of how quick it dries. So many will sling off even after sitting for long periods of time.

Did you cover the wheels when you sprayed it on, or wipe the spray off the wheels afterward?

Good question. I wondered about that also. Also looking forward to a response concernig getting it on the wheels.

Mothers Reflection has been one of my favorites along with Opti-Bond. I apply it with those Carrand tire applicators. These applicators are on the same foam side compared to the "No mess" ones but they spread better.

What he said / ? Does it affect the wheels ? I normally apply tire dressing with a applicator to avoid getting product on the rims.

I also am curious how you applied it

To avoid unwanted over spray, I sprayed the product directly onto a foam tire swipe and then massaged the product into the tire. :bigups

I usually do the same but the thought raises a question.

Are some tire dressings harsh enough to damage the wheel finish?
