The ming process

I had just bought a new car and it had some swirls. I took it to the ming dealer and had it minged. But I can still see scratches and some swirl mark. Does anybody know if can claybar, polish, use swirl remover and wax over the ming process with out hurting the paint

From the website...

Your vehicles paint surface is now clean, smooth, and reflects light evenly for a deep, long-lasting shine. That's the MING Mirror Finish. A MING Mirror Finish is not a wax job in the accepted sense. MING is the only known paint finishing process. NO ABRASIVES are used, NO WAX, NO OILS to liquefy and cloud. There is nothing on the surface of the paint when the job is completed. The paint is clean, smooth, and reflective. MING stands alone in its field of automobile paring finishing. It's Lustrous. It's Lasting!

Another new car buyer who fell for the sales pitch!

Gebster.. read the link posted by WilliamHBonney, check out the Click and Brag sections and see the work being done by people who are truly passionate about detailing.. and I will venture a guess that there isn't a "Ming" among threm!

This is the only Ming I know of...

talking about ming and other miracles.. IF the x-cote or whatever you call that ****, system works (supposely leaves on a layer of permanant like-clear that hides the defects)... is it buffable? what if you get your vehicle scratched again?

**Statements Made Are Based On Perception Not Application**

From what I have read on the "ming" process it sounds a bit phoney & snake oilish to me...I would love to be proved wrong!

Maybe on repainted cars but on OE doesn't sound possible - newer OE cars you'd get burnt paint if my logic serves correct

EDIT: Ha, I used the search and here is what I found that supports my prior research
