The Master Demonstrator - very funny spoof

I feel bad for what they said and are doing to the poor guy over at DW. I know i commented on the now removed thread here, but i still stand my comment, of $2000 for an 800 grit sand with less than perfect removal techniques on a Ford GT.

Sorry...I wasn't aware he was commented on before this thread, nor that he's on DW.

Where's the DW thread? Why was he criticized since what he's doing is obviously a spoof?

Every time I watch him, I get angry because he claims he doesn't do "the things that his competitors do". I would love to see the trim on that free scratch repair he did though, probably dull as hell from that wool pad he needed to get the 800 grit pad out...Sorry, just venting...Master, my ***!

Being a very early noob myself, I definitely cannot say that I could do a "professional" job, however the results that I got on my Sapphire Black BWW were amazing after my first full detail. I did a double wash, clay, taped, Porter Cable work with SSR 2.5, SSR 1, Z5, Z2, etc. The results were no swirls, scratches or anything, just ridiculously crystal clear amazing paint. I was shocked. Granted it took me 4 full days with the car locked up the garage to get it as perfect as I wanted it. Obviously, this guy cannot get results as good as I got with his techniques but to a common car person that neglects their car, his process probably does produce "amazing" results. Half your clear coat is gone but it does look better and he is pretty cheap. So, I can deal with him helping make cars look better on the cheap, he gets paid and if the customer is happy then OK. However, he should never touch anything worth more than $20K and definitely should never be paid $2K to screw up a $200K car. The main thing that bugs me about him is that he claims to be doing better, smarted work than his competitors. If he is going to call out competitors, now he is definitely in the wrong and is highly misleading the uninformed consumer. He could seriously increase his profits if he would just stop wasting so much product! He must buy the Megs Diamond Cut by the 50 gallon barrels. I guarantee that he used more product on doing one scratch removal than I used to correct my entire car. (***NOTE*** I love the part in this vid (3:40) when he has to remove the clump of product that has separated from age)

Also, the kid on the right of the screen at :27 is hilarious.

His technique at 5:30 for opening the aircraft product stored in a water bottle is good.
