The Final Cost ?!

Reply may be a little late but avoid dealing with UPS/Fedex. If they do not ship USPS forget about it unless you want to pay a hefty sum which will add up to what you are paying in some cases. With USPS, all you pay typically is provincial tax + 5$ flat processing fee. 5$ flat fee with USPS versus say insane brokerage fees from UPS such as (UPS: Rates for Customs Clearance into Canada)

If the value is under $20 it won't be taxed. If it is under $60 and declared as gift then it should not be taxed either. I've had $19 value labeled as gift taxed + fees from UPS once. The sender managed to take care of it for me and waived the fees but I had to go pick up the package again (far away...)
