The dumbest case of down sizing I ever heard of!

Well it was either they were going to drop Pluto's status as a planet or reaffirm it and add another 3 planets. Though I had never heard of that Ceres object in between Mars and Jupiter.
 
I just hope they give that last dwarf planet a name pretty soon. It will be lame to have to constantly be referring to it as UB.. What was it again??
 
Does this mean that sytrofoam ball sales will drop since kids only need 8 now to complete thier solar system models? :)
