The Cruiser with some Z on it...

Well, I haven't posted any pics of my car in a long time(I was at school without my car for eight months).

This is my 02 PT Cruiser in Taupe Frost Metallic. It has 32k on its clock and I strive to keep it looking decent. It's my daily driver and it just went through its second harsh MI winter, so a full detail was a given.

These aren't "freshly detailed" pics, since I just got my camera. These pics are after a Z7 wash and Z6.

Last weekend, I did this to her:

1. WG wash

2. Clay with Zaino clay and Meguiars Quik Det. as lube

3. WG wash

4. Mezerna IP by PC w/yellow LC pad at speed 5

5. Mezerna FP by PC w/white LC pad at speed 5

6. Z6 once over

7. Z2 w/zfx (three coats w/Z6 in between)

Also, there's Z2 w/zfx on the wheels, and AA original on the tires. Used CD2 twins on the engine bay.

More in a second...

Wow, the Zaino really does bring out the flake in your paint. A very nice looking color too. Don't see too many PT's this way in that shade. Did you add the chrome covers to the tailights?

Try to hold it there on the window stickers. You're getting quite a collection. I counted five in total plus the flames, hitting my threshold. :D

Yeah, I added the chrome tailights and the grille and the beltline strip. I know what you mean about the stickers. I went crazy for awhile. I'm planning on stripping them all on the windshield. The tiny flames I'll keep for now, though.:D
