The cleaning capabilities of Prime "Strong".

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
I know that Prime has become a very big deal around here. And I know a lot of people will use it in the arsenal. But I have not seen any threads really show the cleaning ability of Prime. So as some of you know I have a 2006 GSX-R600. This chain at first slung so much lube all over my back wheel it was rediculous. I tried a lot of wheel cleaners on it, but with no luck of course. And the other day I was at work and I remembered the guy who went over the bike with me when I purchased it said, "good luck getting the cahin lube off". And he said it with a chuckle, like it was funny to him I guess. And so after having one shiny wheel and one dull wheel, I was finally fed up with it. So I was thinking at work, maybe Prime would do the trick on that wheel. And here is the results...

My Process: I literally spent 5 minutes on all the work you see in the pics.

-Wash w/Optimum wash

-Prime Strong by hand with a yellow foam PakShak applicator

-Sealed (But I can't tell you with what yet)

Excellent. I also noticed the other day that P:S made incredibly short work of some water spots I was having a hard time with. So you did that by hand in 5 min? That's pretty impressive. :)

That's why I posted the time. It cuts right through all of the grime and build up. It's doesn't even take any effort. And trust me I put effort in with other cleaners I don't want to name, and they didn't even make a dent. Reference the first pick for prior efforts.

There are people on a bike site I frequent telling a guy to clean his wheels with WD-40. :shocked I told them here is a cleaner that is a cleaner, a polish, and a "protectant" all in one. I didn't push the protectant part to much. But I told them to stop recommending WD-40 for all the bike cleaning needs. :bigups

nice, this is another thing to put up on my list of things to consider.

You can't go wrong with it. Having the bike has shown me the importance of product like Prime.

Why can't you tell us what it's sealed with yet? :)

I came up with something I want to test a little more before I let everyone know. Not a big deal, just never heard of it around here. :bigups

I second that, prime strong takes away most water spots on my car with ease, it actually has cut down on the amount of times I used to clay my vehicles.

What you did with your wheels would make a great testimonial, email JW along with the pics im sure theyll add it to their website :xyxthumbs

You have got to be kiddin. You can not tell us what you used? Jeez I am back in grade school.

Wow, sorry man.

50/50 mix of Jeff's Werkstatt Carnauba Jett and Optimum Car wax.

Happy.

Well, a few days ago I put some AJ on my new wheels, and their pretty shiney now. If they ever get messed up I will use some Prime on them, thanks for the heads up.

Now i can try it on my car too. Thanks..... If it works it works, if it does not so what. I like to mix and match too.

I couldn't believe how well Prime cleaned up my wheel.

I have a friend in Layton John, I should stop by and say hi sometime when I go visit him. Or I should have you detail his Evo since I can't. He needs a tutorial on how to wash a car.

Whatever you want to do, LOL Stop on by, I got a few beers in the fridge. I can also help show him how to wash a car, lol

I just ordered some Prime Acylic and some Acrylic Jett Trigger....Hopefully the Prime Acrylic will clean, polish and protect my car and the Acrylic Jett Trigger will keep it that way in between uses of the Prime.....

Easy, you should have gotten some AG as well though. With the AJT, maybe use every two months, with some AG in between, probably after washes though.
