The Classy Life of a Professional Detailer

Started with latex gloves, removed mats. Pressure washed mats and door jams. Used extractor to get the bulk off the floor and seats. Filled Tornador with Meg's APC 10-1, hit the doors, plastic, metal seat guides, and all the corners of the carpet. Pulled out the VX5000 and hit all those spots again with steam. Vacuumed everything using empty Tornador to blow out the fibers of the carpet. Filled the Tornador with 4-1 Folex and DI water, hit the seats and carpet. Grabbed my Mytee HP60 and switched the upholstery tool to the new Mytee Dry. Rinsed seats and floor, extracting everything that was loosened up with the Tornador. Hit everything with a active enzyme odor controller. Turned on the engine, put the AC on recirculat, put in my Ozone generator and closed it up for a 30min shock. Whole thing took about 3 hours.

Man oh man !!!
What happened in there ???
Did a bunch of baby-formula bottles explode ???
Yuck!

Congratulations !! You Rock !!!

Thanks guys. Tried to turn this one down over the phone. I was pretty booked and it was looking like rain. The poor kid on the phone just sounded so desperate. So I squeezed it in. Best trick for these nasty jobs is to work with a big fan behind you. That keeps the smell from getting too overpowering.

Wow! Great job! I like how you used a tornador, a steamer and a carpet extractor for the best results while being as efficient as possible. Perfect example of why you can't just rely on a steamer or extractor or Tornador on its own.

Have you tried the new Mytee dry upholstery tool?

My goodness. I've done a few of these as well. Good work. I know exactly what it's like. Mostly as I'm cleaning I think, "Damn... how can people live like this." I think the last real bad one I did had crystallized Cereal and sugar milk in the carpet under the seats, cigarettes stashed everywhere, and stuff I don't want to nor do I need to know caked all over the seat that looked similar to that. Great work. Now onto a less obnoxious project :D

As matter of fact I posted a two part review on that tool on this very website. I used the conventional tool to get the bulk of that mess up then switched to the Dry tool after vacuuming and shampooing.
