As I sit here enjoying some free time, I look at my calendar to confirm the nice schedule ahead in the next three weeks starting Wednesday.
The last year or so has been great for business. I finally settled into my day job and my idea of booking my free time with paid jobs has worked out pretty well. I`m filling my schedule regularly. My garage /shop is coming along, I have the ac installed, have lights too, just need them hung/working as well as better insulation.
Short of my recent splurge on the Mark 2 21, Mini and Air force blaster..along with my recent Rupes pad order I have managed to do it all, along with pay for my Frontier payments with my detailing profits.
Big thanks to connect btw. Double points add up pretty quickly IME at least, haha.
But that money will be well spent here soon.
So I digress...I`m looking at my calendar and see this beautifil sight...
This wed, I get (due to his out of town work schedule) a Hellcat Charger for 7-9 days. With detailers choice on what I do to it.
Planning some Rupes love and Gtech CSL + EXO, some leather treatment, engine, gonna do a lot to this car.
Then the next friday when that client picks up I will take delivery of my buddies car that will undoubtedly test my patience with painters tape, lol. Vinyl city...but a nice car nonetheless.
That next Wed I take my first repeat Mopar client.
Needs more black ice for the orange and Poorboy`s cocktail for the black paint.
Yes, I Will layer again, lol. Three best in class trophies this summer for her stock Charger SRT8 and three direct referrals driving 60+ miles to me tell me it works just fine
.
That friday I take the backpack detail auction winner, a Metallic Black SRT Hellcat Challenger with nearly 1000 horsepower to the wheels. No vinyl and no flat black hood, thankfully. Just a lot of swirls when I inspected it 5 months ago. I`m sure more now.
No pics but it will get Rupes love and PBLv2.
After that I have to find a way to squeeze in this new scat pack driving down early for the show from NC to get a spot in my garage (a club members new ride-he lives in NC at the moment)
Its a scat pack charger
I have to squeeze that one in before Tuesday night (not sure what I will do to it just yet).
Then my good friend finally brings me his Challenger, BadR/T -a far from stock 2009 model
thats an older pic. It has since got new tires/lettering and matte clear paint instead of the vinyl wrap on the roof.
So that`s why I say the calm before the storm. Keep in mind I work a 50 hour a week day job as well. This will be an interesting next three weeks starting Wednesday.
Finally just want to end this essentially pointless thread I have created just by saying how greatful I am to the Autopia community which I have came to know as more of the Autopia Family.
I went digging and found my first ever post here.
August 7 2012 when I found this site. Have since adopted this username but from day one I was welcomed by the Autopia community.

I am by no means a professional, but I sure wouldn`t be able to turn out the quality I currently produce without the assistance from members and posts on this forum.
And I don`t think I would be booking nice cars like these if I wasn`t doing something right.
Wish me luck with checking off several bucket list Modern Mopar details in the next few weeks

And expect lots of pictures and probably a few deticated threads to specific questions I come across along the way.
If I only had photoshop to create a new clever one, but this is how I feel about the upcoming jobs...
(thanks Angus)
Ironically it started pouring rain outside and is thundering quite well during the time since I started typing this up and hitting the submit button.
Thanks for viewing.
