Meg's Final Detail over Clearkote Quick Shine.

It's Electric!!

My best this year is vanilla moose, carnuba moose and quikshine.

At $15 a gallon, If final detail is as good as quikshine it will be tops on my list. Hey looks like we still got a month(or at least a couple of weeks) of good detailing in big D. 80 degrees tomorrow.

Here is my list.

ClearKote QuickShine

Meguiar's Final Detail

S100 paste wax

PoorBoy's Pro Polish

PoorBoy's SSR1

PoorBoy's SSR3

PoorBoy's S&W

PoorBoy's QD+

PRO Premo dressing

Blackfire 2

PC7336

With Aloha,

Ranney :)

I'm a newbie, so I haven't had a chance to try much yet,

If you had asked me 6 months ago, before finding Autopia, I would've said:

- the Absorber

- Meg's GC liq wax

But now I can say:

- Mother's Clay Bar

- Meguiar's #7 & #26 liquid

- MF's

Recently aquired, but haven't had a chance to use yet:

- #20

- QEW

- Pakshak's MFs & WWs

Liquid Souveran. Easy application, easy to buff off. Best looking wax on top of Blackfire yet that I have used.

Mequiars Endurance. Keeps the tires black even after the shine wears off.

Porter Cable 7424. Awesome machine, does things I could not do by hand--makes polishing easy. Let down: it vibrates so much my arms hands hurt a lot after using it. Don't use it as much as I thought I would

LOL! Was thinking the same thing! This is "Best of the year" right! Hey, maybe he just got into it! But it did look more like a favorites list. ;)

:o It's a shame getting old! I honestly can't remember if I started really getting into this in Nov of '01 or Nov '02. I'm pretty sure that it's Nov '02, though, so yeah, everything that I learned from you guys has all been within the last year!

But, it might have been Nov 01... nope. Definitely Nov '02, because Pinnacle was selling all their old packaging stuff for (relatively) dirt cheap. So, I could also include Souveran Paste, and Crystal Mist detailer.

Since that's true, the really really sick part is that almost everything on my shelf would qualify.

It's time to start using that stuff up, I'd say.

2. Woolie + Water 6:1 So simple, and gets such great results on the leather. Thanks Scott for that one!

Actually, thank Cadillac for the tip because that is where I got it from. It was on the leather care tag hanging off the headrest of a 1994 Cadillac I was detailing many years ago. Lexus is recommending it now....but not Woolite specifically, just a generic wool safe detergent.

APC+

Woolite 6:1

Saved me lots of $$ by being able to dilute my own cleaner as oposed to buying 10 different cleaners for different purposes. Handy around the house too.

Nice collection!

:xyxthumbs

I have had the opportunity to try several new products over the course of this last year. Most products were at least decent, none were truly awful. Two product however performed for me in an exceptional manner. Listed in no particular order.

O Poorboy's Spray and Wipe. I several of Steve's products and each has performed as advertised, but his S&W product is as versatile of a product as I have found. You can use it full strength, you can dilute it with water (I prefer distilled), or you can dilute it with a QD product (Mother's Showtime, my current fave). It cleans glass, it cleans paint. It is a must have on my cart or in my bucket.

O Pinnacle's Liquid Souveran ((A big THANK YOU to the folks at AutoGeek.com for the generous sample) - Can a product be any easier to apply and/or remove and leave such a beautiful finish behind?

Hi Guys

In Order - Ultra Microfiber towels (from Australia)

P21s GEPC and P21s Wax.

Great Products....both helped me detail my Mercedes a lot

How could I have forgotten Greased Lightning's Orange Blast Degreaser? Awesome product. Full strength is great for engines and whitewalls/raised white letters and mixed down 4:1 with water, excellent on floor mats.

Products I loooove ;)

1. 7336 PC - but my guns have lost some size now - oh well more curls ;)

2. Klasse AIO - is there anything it can't do?

3. Platinum Products - Ultimate Paint Protectant, Ultimate Auto Wash, Ultimate Leather Cleaner, Ultimate Leather Conditioner, Ultimate Gloss Enhancer - everyone a winner

4. Poorboy's Products - Spray and Wipe, Professional Polish, Ex, Natural Look, Lifetime applicators

5. Trade Secret - wipe on/wipe off on top of UPP it is amazing

4. Cherry Wet Wax, when it has to be quick and look amazing nothing beats it, easy on/off, smells great and amazing shine - does not last long but when I don't have four hours to spare it comes out.

5. Microfiber - I'm not sure what I have more of products or mf towels!

1. Klasse Twins

2. VM & CMW

3. PC

4. 1Z Metalic Polish & Glanz Wax

5. Poorboys S&W, SSR1 & SSR2

6. S100 Polish & Wax

I think the best products i used this year were:

- Leatherique

- Woolite cleaning solution

- 303 Aerospace protectant

- QEW

- S100, this product is good every year!

Happy Holidays Everyone,

Cheers!!

Meguiar's Final Detial

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe

Poorboy's PWC

Poorboy's SSR1

Poorboy's Natty's Wax

Poorboy's Natual Look

Poorboy's new Mega Plush MF's

Platinum's UPP

I'm going to give DACP and SFP a try to take the swirls out of my Eclipse.

Citri-Gel
