That LAST step - S100 & ?

I am sitting here with 1 x AIO and 3 x SG sitting on my Black Audi. I was wondering if anyone had tried putting a glaze like #7 over their SG before using S100?



#7, SEPC, Pinnacle Lotion? Anything before S100 or will it just remove the SG?



Any ideas?



By the way, thanks for the SG on trim tip. Looks great on the plastic around the mirrors and the pebbled trim on the lower body!

SamIam- Glad to hear you like the SG on the trim. I always seal the trim on our Audis :up It's nice to NOT have to deal with it after each wash.



I wouldn't put anything except (straight) wax over the SG. As you suspected, the other products will either weaken it through solvent action ( the #7) or "clean" it off (SEPC, PPCL). If it's ready for something extra, just start with the wax toppers. Don't let the S100 dry on the trim, just wipe-on-wipe-off to avoid staining (as per a recent thread).
 
Yeah, pretty much all of the products (and similar products) that you mentioned will blow away all your hard work. Do a search for "klasse glaze" and look through the threads for people who had similar thoughts in the past.

I just finished putting down the S100 and I am still blown away every time I use it as to how easy it is to use and how great it looks. I guess because of the difficulty and complicated nature of SG (how long to dry, how long to cure, haze, etc.) S100 just seems like such a bargain! AIO and SG are great products and I like the idea of their long term protection, but thank goodness for products like S100!



I get to do my wife's black Acura MDX next week, if the weather is good, which is a 50/50 proposition. I believe I will do AIO and just layer S100 over it, or maybe just stick to SEPC and S100. AIO is pretty easy to work with, so maybe I'll use that as the base, although Scottwax's pictures of Vanilla Moose are tempting!
