Thank you Collinite!

This might be a stupid question that I know the answer to - so apologies in advance...

I finally got around to claying my car this weekend with Mother's clay kit. Good stuff - and thanks to those that posted reviews of this product in the forums. I initially got some streaking, and then following advice I read here, cut down on the amount of the QD I was using to lube the clay. Once I did that - streak free, and easy to do (well, except molding that clay - ouch..).

Now - am I ready to toss some Klasse on this bad boy - or do I have to Dawn wash it in order to get off the QD?

I don't think the Dawn is needed. Just wash the car with a car shampoo, and then start with the AIO. AIO's non-abrasive chemical cleaners should remove any oils left behind from the Mother's QD.

Good luck!

I saw TLMitchell's thread as I was getting ready to write my own. Collinite was looking for suggestions to help improve their website and one of my ideas was in the top 5.

I received an email from Patrick Taylor reading,

Luke,

On behalf of the Collinite Crew-thanks for the comments you left for us on our website survey. Your suggestions will help Collinite build a better online resource for its customers-old and new.

Please let me know which Collinite product I can send to you as a token of our appreciation.

I already have 476, 845, 850, and 855. The last piece to my puzzle was 915.

And look what showed up!

Youse guys got wax and after professing my undying love and devotion to Collinite products for close to 4 decades I got a hat? I s'pose that's still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. :p

I wonder how the cars will look with a fresh coat of 'hat'? ;)
