I ran a search and found little useful info. In the past I have kept my nicer waxes in the fridge. On the Zymol Carbon can, it says to refrigerate.



I have a second fridge so I have plenty of room for product storage. Which products would last longer in the fridge if any.

I keep my Souveran in the fridge. I can't recall where and when I learned this tip but it's been working fine so far. And I bought my Souveran in 1998.:eek:
 
I keep my Souveran and P21S in the fridge. I keep my Blitz downstairs on the shelf. Blitz has a metal can and I worry that condensation will rust the can in the fridge. I once left an appliciator sponge in my can of Blitz, and the seam inside the can started to rust. Scraped it down and put a coat of clear nail polish on the seam to keep it from happening again.

I would only keep plastic containers in the fridge. I've had my Souveran for almost a year, and it's just fine. Enjoy!
 
when you guys place waxes in the fridge, do you put it in some platic bag or anything to prepare it before you actually store it away? or do you just put the can/bottle in?



also, when u take it out to be used again, do u just let it warm up to room temp before using it?
 
I just make sure to covers are on snug, and put them in the back corner of the fridge. I don't like the idea of a plastic bag, because moisture will condense inside the bag and maybe be transferred to the wax container. If your going to store it in a bag use two bags, then the moisture will be trapped between the bags. And I wouldn't worry about warming it up to room temp. By the time you wipe a very thin coat on your appliciator and rub it onto the finish, it will be at whatever temp the finish of your vehicle is.

Your question did make me open up my Souveran last night when I got home from work. It was still fine! I applied a coat of P21S to my truck two weeks ago, and that was still fine. So I guess keeping it in the fridge won't hurt it. Enjoy!
 
I have a can of Souveran that is nearly two years old now. I simply store it inside in one of my restroom cabinets. No problems. Laters

I good friend of mine has the above issue. He knows I dealt with it on my wife's MDX. Only difference is I treated my wife's interior prior to cleaning it. Any ideras on how to get this off? It is a 3 week old MB350ML.

Steamer?

APC?

Leatherique?

Ultima interior Shampoo?
 
Jeff,

You might want to try Leather Master Super Remover. Once you remove the stain, you should protect it with Leather Master Protection Cream.

Let us know how it turns out.

I used leatherique to remove denim stains from the chapparal leather surfaces of a King Ranch Ford. I was really impressed with how well it worked on worn in stains, I would imagine it would be easier to use on new surfaces plus leave a good amount of protection against future stains.

Thanks, the Ultima interior Sampoo worked like a charm, spray, rub in with foam applicator, wipe with terry cloth towel. (chuck towel filled with dye) Seat treated with 303. Looks better than new. Leatherique was my next idea as I do not own any leather masters.
