Testing out some various coatings

Rasky's Auto Detailing
So I finally got around to applying some newer and/or updated coatings to my truck for some testing. I always try to stay up to date with coatings as much as possible as updates are made and I like to have my own testing so that I`m confident in what I`m offering my clients. It also helps me determine which coating is best for my clients expectations.

Note that I misspoke in the video when pointing out the section on the lower divers side when I said "Ceramic Lite with Top Coat". As you can see by the label it was actually Ceramic with Top Coat. I also topped CSU on half of the drivers side box the next morning with EXOv3 to see how much of a difference it makes over just having CSU applied. I applied Self-Heal Lite to one of my test pans too so I can demo the healing abilities to potential clients.

Nice looking Ram! You must have traded off your red truck. I recall you had a few coatings being tested on the tailgate.

That tailgate on the new truck could use some more brand identification:)

Yeah, lease was up on the red one and they had such good deals on them I couldn`t pass up getting another. ;)

I agree it`s very intresting testing you are doing. Thanks for shareing your work with us.

Did you top Gliss on something or was that on it`s own? And is a top coating you consider to sell as a stand alone protection to customers? Is it placeing in the middle of a sealant and a ceramic coating price wise also?

Will be fun to follow your results!

Thanks!

I only applied Gliss as a stand alone this time around as I wanted to see how it compares to EXO, Gloss-coat, Ceramic Lite, and Top Coat. I`ll probably apply is as a topper to part of my wife`s car over Professional but probably not Finest Reserve. I`m still pretty new with the Feynlab but as I understand it, Top Coat is designed to be a topper to any of the Feynlab coatings, including the self-healing ones to add slickness and hydrophobic properties. I`m sure it can be used as a stand alone too but I`m not sure I will offer it that way. If I do It will be an additional cost, on par with EXOv3 or Gloss-Coat. FWIW, I don`t up-charge for waxes and sealants. I don`t think Top Coat is officially released yet either.
