After reading this thread It made me fo outside and have bit off a play.
I have both OCP and SSR 2.5 where delivered a few weeks ago but I hadnt had a chance to use them. Divided the hood of my daily driver and tooks some SFX cutting pads. On a good car I would have started with polishing pads on each, but wanted a proper test.
My results mirror what other have said, by PC 2-3 mins on speed 6 and the SSR 2.5 is about to dust, and I stopped and removed, about 2 -3 passes of left to right and up and down on the hood. With the Optimum at the same point/time scale/amount off passes you can still keeping working as it is still wet. I didnt tho and wiped off.
Comparing the side by side, was impressed on metallic gold/bronze/brown

both where ready for LSP no hazing very impressed. Looks wise both where wet and glossy. The SSR 2.5 side seemd to have removed more off the marring, so gave me the impression that a SFX Cutting pad with it made it a touch more aggressive the the Opt? But maybe if I had worked the Opt a little more as it would have allowed me to maybe it would have done the same?
SSR 2.5 seems to get the results a little quicker but then there is the risk off dusting you wont get with the Opt. I am sure the longer working time of the Opt can also be an advantage. If I am pushed for time I will grab the SSR 2.5 first I think. When I polish my black car I think i will feel safer witht he longer working time off the Optimum though.
