Test: Pictures of PakShak's MF

I have been testing different source of MF towels over the last month. These are the PakShak towels. Extremely soft and adequate ( good) plushness for car detailing. One 16x16 towel removed a layer of Blackfire 2 without any saturation problems. As seen in photo the tags are easily detached and the towel's construction is good. I have used, washed and re-used with excellent results. Can not beat the price/quality ratio, Very good buy:xyxthumbs . Excellent services with order verification and tracking numbers ( 3 days from Hawii to Virginia) . Keep up the good work Ranney:xyxthumbs :wavey

Ranney even sent my MF's (to Thailand) via airmail with a cost of surface mail, plus 8 oz free sample of Quikshine.

I felt so terrible that I'll have to order more.;)

I have both the PakShak MF's and the JT International MF's. I don't think you can go wrong with either. The 16x16's cost me almost exactly the same, customer service was excellent with both, the quality of both was almost identical.

The JT's felt a little softer (maybe because they are newer?) but the PakShak's seemed plusher overall to me. Shipping was a little less with PakShak (even from hawaii). JT definitely had more colors and selections of different MF products (including waffle weave MFs).

My personal preference was PakShak but I had to order JTs to get the waffle weave. I would highly recommend either.

When did the PakShak towels start having tags? I thought that was a nice feature of them. I didn't have to spend any time cutting the tags off them before use. I just tossed them in the wash and then they were ready to go.

Hi Aurora 4.0,

Technically they do not have attached tags. The tag that come on each towel is stuck on with all the facts about the MF (Zoom down on white tag 5.0 pixel pix) Very nice feature

IMO, take the tags off the Pakshak towels (if you have some with them on ASAP).

Ranney is one of the nicest and best guys to work with anywhere. His customer service rocks (I will have to buy more just to repay his incredible kindness!) I had a problem with some sticky stuff from the labels getting into the towels and staying put (long story). He sent new towels -- talk about AAA+ service -- WOW :)

Be safe -- remove the labels as soon as the towels arrive. Note -- the light green replacements were label free.

Comments:

The PackShak's light greens are excellent. I am now rinsing them in distilled water (if you are in a hard water area you will notice on glass cleaning).

Another source of killer grade towels are from MicrofiberTech Elites.(Talk to Ian). (Very plush -- like the YoSteve with slightly thicker piles on both sides) [I now consider the Elites to be my favorite "plush" towel]
