Tent for detailing???

I have a driveway that offers shade in the early morning and late evening. I need to detail during the day. Does anybody have a link or location to purchase some type of tent that can be easily set up, used to shade an entire vehicle, and then easily taken down and stored until the next day? Please let me know.

I would love to have this option, but city codes here prohibit that sort of thing. They're sort of car nazis, you're not even allowed to have a For Sale sign on your car.

Why would they prohibit the use of a car shelter?

This makes absolutely no sense at all to me.

Even on your own property?
 
You could possibly use the type of tent soccer teams use to shelter a team during a game. We have one for our team that is 14' x 14' and cost $48.00 at Sam's Club. May not cover your entire car, but they are easily put up by one person (5 minutes) and moved by one person. Most come with a storage sheath.

That's a GREAT price for a 14'x14'.



I'll look into that. I'd think it would cover nearly all the car and could be shifted around as needed.
 
I know COSTCO and BJ's sells them up hear. The white quick setup ones for around $150. They look extremely well made. They even come with roll down sides.

Those are the replacement covers, not the whole canopy.

Are you serious??? No For Sale sign for cars???? Thats ridiculous....
 
I got a 12x12 at Academy for around 150 and it does the job well. I just want to get the pieces you can attach to the sides that come down once the sun starts setting. Those come in handy big time.
