tell me why I should not get nxt 2.0

I have only used the V1.0 products, but NXT is horrible for staining trim (as are the original GC, and the 6 and 12 cleaner waxes). I was much more careful with the #21 around trim, but my gut tells me it's a little better. The #21 was surprisingly good, but I have so many LSP's I haven't used it for a while.

EDIT: Back to part of the original question as to a #26 replacement; 26 is a good wax, you might like Collinite 845 IW.

zamac_man- It seems to me that you're considering a new approach that might be more fundamentally different than you realize. IME sealants generally are *FAR* less forgiving of imperfect prep than waxes, and, for example, flaws that are barely noticeable under NXT are *VERY* obvious under Klasse SG.

The same trade secret oils i #80 that need cleaned away before Zaino/etc. are possibly hiding some minor flaws.

I only use sealants on vehicles I can basically get, *and keep* perfectly marring-free. That can be a tall order.

I finally tried NXT v2.0 when a pal insisted I use it on his Jag showcar..eh, it wasn't bad stuff and I was expecting to *not* be favorably impressed. I can't really say I have any criticisms of it, but I dunno how durable it would be on a driver (but than again it goes on/off *very* quickly/easily).

Personally, I think you oughta try Collinite wax.
