tell me what i'm doing wrong (swirls)

Deanski:

It wasn't me that said you couldn't do it with the PC or #9. I fact I have done it numerous times.

One other thing, Mike Phillips has done a lot of things that are beyond the capabilities of quite a few of us. Definitely beyond my capabilities.

thanks to all for their replies. i've read up some more, and as soon as i get the chance, i'm going to give it another go. i think the pad may have become a bit loaded when i made it to the hood. so the second time around, i'm going to make sure i work it in long enough.

As for pads for the PC, I love those "finger" type pads. Work very well with DACP! Just don't use too much and you'll be fine. Make sure if using DACP it breaks down to a powder, then wipe off. If you get any haze, a pass with SFP or #9 and a polish pad and it's gone! Follow with Megs HP and a finish pad and then you can shave in the mirror reflection!

Deanski

That I know of, Meguiar's introduced the "Wooless Wonder" in 1965.

I think this is the year Gilligan's Island debuted.

I know its the year the Rolling Stones came out with, "I can't get no satisfaction", and the Beach Boys came out with, "Help me Rhonda".

Or, to put it into perspective, shortly after Ford introduced the first Mustang. (1964 1/2)

I have an orginal one in my collection. The foam is now disinigrating however,
Wow... the "Wooless Wonder" eh?

I guess it's been around for longer than I thought! Thanks for the Blast From the Past Nostalgia Hour. :xyxthumbs
