Teflon Sealants

Well, I certainly don't want to argue this point, but it was my understanding that the large-scale dissemination of PFOA was from Scotchguard, which is what led to 3M ceasing production of it (at least that formula).

FWIW, Scotchgard did not contain any PFOA (Perfluorooctanoic Acid), it was PFOS (Perfluorooctanyl sulfonate), which is similar but distinctly different from the PFOA showing up in everyones blood today.

There is a great choice of "wicked" car garages over here.

Aston Martin, Porsche, Ferarri...

I really would have them all detailed, but there is one problem...

A guy drives around in a "van", call himself car restorer and used the cheapest products he can buy to "detail" those small fortunes on wheels.

He asks about 600 $, just outside, one step wipe on/ wipe off...

AND THEY ALL BELIEVE IN IT !!!

He also claims that his "method" and "products" are 100% pure teflon, but in reality, I think his wax contains more fillers then a bucket of cement.

Really sad how he can make money from those richer people and rip them off...

PPS is a good product, I've used it in the past. It just does not last as long as menzerna FMJ though.

I think the opposite. PPS outlasts FMJ easily. Got both in my arsenal and I never use FMJ anymore. So you think that I will give FMJ a try?

I had it applied on my wife's car about a year ago and it didn't last for me. Maybe it was applied incorrectly?

I didn't do it, it was put on by the bodyshop that repainted the car.
