Car has run a best time of 13.720 @99mph (with only 4.30 gears and Drag radials) Hoping to run mid to low 13's this summer!

I purchased this vehicle from it's original owner in october of 2005 with 104,000KM on it, The owner had kept it in his garage undercover for it's whole life ;) the paint is in faily good shape considering the milage on it! Now fast foward into 2009 the car has 120,000KM on it and the vehicle sat outside all this winter with no cover (The 4.30 ring gear blew up, car sat at the shop all winter :O)

Time for a long overdue paint correction! - i will be updating pictures as i go along ;)

Here is a nice pic showing some of the colors this paint will turn

Same side, diffrent angle! you can see the haze in the paint!

More haze! and a very nasty door ding at the top!

1996mysticcobra020.jpg
Other side of the car, again more haze + slight defects

Closer inspection of the door shows some sanding marks!!! this is one of the better pics i could take for showing defects

Showing the darker, more tame side of this wonderfull paint!

The dark reddish/brown color does not show its face very offten!

My flash seems to capture the defects on this paint *alot* better than halogens... maybe i'm doing somthing wrong?

inside the box has been polished with Optimum Polish with LC white pad... Flex 3401VRG at speed 6. You cant see it in the pic but the paint has much better clairity, however some defects remain :(. i moved upto Optimum Compound with poor results.... Time for some SIP!

I always thought it had to much going on to be a nice color. :nervous:

it's not as wild in person. they look like dark green Cobras at first glance.

certain pictures and angles are able to capture all of the colors that go into it, but in person you have to actually look for the shift sometimes.
