Taking a break from detailing

I haven't been on this forum for very long and while my passion for making cars beautiful remains, it is time for me to set it aside for now. I'll be going off to college soon at the University Of Northwestern in Lima, OH studying the Automotive Industry whether it be engines, drivelines, interiors, high performance, alternative fuels etc... Detailing, since I started some 4-5 years ago, is a very expensive hobby and needless to say, Dirty cars make me cringe and so does forking over the cash to pay for that beautiful shine. The reward in return is very benificial.

I am not leaving for good. I will still return and visit from time to time helping other members. Be good to everyone and take care of those rides,,,,,98

Good Luck at school. Even with all that studying detailing will get you when you least expect it.

good luck in college! tell us how it goes when you get back, im gonna be in your position in a year from now :flamed

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I will stop in from time to time to say hey and help others. Shiny cars and trucks making 4-500H.P :rockin Thanks again to everyone,,,,,98

I'm in the same boat. Hopefully I'll get to keep cleaning and working on cars throughout college, but school is the first priority. Oh well, plenty of time when I'm looking for a job once I graduate, of course co-op can help expedite that process.
