J.J.: Honestly, the Turbo Wax Tire Dressing is the best I've used to date. With BnB, Z16, Opt, etc, I ALWAYS have to go over dry tires (tires that are not usually dressed) at least twice, sometimes 4 times. With the Turbo Wax, I go over them once, and let me add that you use so little of product its scary, then after ten minutes just take the tire swipe with no added product to smooth out any dry spots. I haven't needed to hit them with 2 applications yet! They leave a deep, dark sheen that lasts through a rain storm without ANY sling. To put the little use in laymans terms, well I got a 2 oz sample and have done about 8-10 sets of tires with them and still have a little over 1/4 oz left !!! Honestly, I am ordering this stuff right up.
Notice the clouds in the pictures of the Infiniti. I promise you the swirls were FAR worse when the sun was beating dead on. I checked the afters with a camera flash and halogens.
Go with Optimum and a cutting first, then move up to PG if necessary. I love PG becuase its rather abrasive yet finishes up so fine, that a finishing pad/light polish will take away any light haze it left. With most compounds, a 3 step routine is necessary.
Spoiled: HEAVY tree sap deposits. You know when clay and high powered solvents won't touch them, that wetsanding is the last hope. I haven't gotten a call back, so I guess they don't bother her :nixweiss
series: I have a lot of experience with the papers. I have done spot repairs all the way to full panels. I wish I could fine a way to get a big compressor with some Mirka papers and a DA sander though. That would help on the big jobs

Beason: I agree. At first the dressing was looking good but it wasn't sticking well (dry tires). The more I added the glossier it got

. Not my cup of tea, but the owner was happy.
Scott: Optimum blows my mind. With the Infiniti, I think it was my best day yet with it. I just love the infinite working time, no dust, and HIGH GLOSS it leaves. PwC I like a lot, but am still playing around with speeds/pads on the rotary. It doesn't seem to like high speeds.
John: It sure does. I was thinking of you and ZaneO on this one. I can't wait to see yours next weekend.
I used the old PwC. I may have to opt for the blue pretty soon as I could use the slightly extra hiding/wetness. It will help me phase out VM.
I am spraying on the Optimum dressing, letting it sit for 10, respraying, letting it sit for 5, then going over it with an applicator. I am rather unhappy with the old build and am just trying to use the stuff up. The new stuff is definatley better but I find on dry tires, its not as good as BnB.
