Tag you're it!

So I was thinking of ways that I can be more helpful here on Autopia so all of you can use me to my fullest potential.

While you can start threads in our Poorboy's World Section, which I check often, and get a hold of me there with any question you may have. I want to be more accessible on threads that are not started in the PB section, I just don't have the time to check every thread for a question.

So it got me thinking, and Ray let me know if I'm nuts here haha, but is there a way to "tag" people in a post? Something along the lines of what we can do on Facebook in say a status update. So if someone has a question in a thread and they say "Hey Pockets, what do you think?" it will notify me that my user name is being mentioned and I will be "tagged" in that post.

This would work for anybody else's user name btw.

Is there something like this out there? Is is something that you are interested in looking into?

Just thinking of ways that I can serve you better!

I used to use a forum where you use the @ symbol and their username to tag someone. I really liked it.

Not sure I have enough minutes left after Steve gets done calling me everyday haha

Hes a big ol paper pusher now while I run the show at the warehouse end here in NY.

Loving every minute and laughing at me while I shovel myself out here in NY haha. It was a lifestyle change for the better as I really have never seen him so happy as he is now that he is down there. I'm glad he can enjoy it!

There is so much in the workings I am busy every single second of the day! There are a few products that we are working on but my real time consumer is more infrastructure related Once that is done we can go full swing on the product end.
