System One? Jay Leno

Thats fine, but I have probably polished 20 or so Ferrari F430's in the last 5 months and only one had anything resembling a difficult clearcoat (the rest where softer)...

Eitherways, the guy was still a moron IMO.

Todd: I did a little research on the System One owner. He's pretty accomplished in the auto/motorcycle paint business. He's had finishes in the Pebble Beach Concour's which is pretty tough competition.

The person I replaced at the BMW dealership had lots of body shop rotary experience while I came from the opposite end of the spectrum: final finish. The guy could compound a car extremely well and quickly, where I tend to take my time to avoid burns, etc. But, his knowledge pretty much stopped there (compounding & glazine) while mine paid went further with proper wax application and interior cleaning.

Just a little info for ya..

Really, I couldn't see why this wouldn't work. It might not be the best choice for all situations, but it certainly could work. I have seen an expert rotary user take Meguiar's #85 to a waxable finish. Why not this, too? I'd be thinking that I could do this with any one of several different products and good technique.

Remember, in the end, the finish doesn't lie. It either shines, or it doesn't. Everything else is just posturing. If System One does the job, then it does the job.... just like what you're currently using. If in some cases you'd get the same results faster with System One, then those are the ones that you use it for. If there are other cases where you need to take your time with a heavier product and more steps, then those are the situations you DON'T use System One.

Seems pretty simple to me.
