Synergy ?

Ronkh

Wax Waster
My kid likes wax too (apple/tree). He wants to play with Synergy before we coat his car.

Myself, I think we should coat it x 2 (pbl) then play.

Looks at stripes, and gaps between stripes. That's the reason I think we need to coat first.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

The stripes and textured plastic would be soooooo much easier to work on after coated (imho)

Wax in the South Florida sun will last about as long as a strip of bacon on the breakfast table when my boys are over. Having used a toothpick to remove residue from the decals on a IROC Z (the ones along the lower part of the car). I can tell you how much it SUX. Do everyone involved a favor and use a coating. Tell him wax is for surfboards (and evidentially vettes ! :))

Good Luck...........

As I said, he wanted to play.

I put synergy on my vette last year for 2 months till it was coated. It was still going strong on black car in FL

April, May, coated in June.

Still trying to talk him into coating first, then play

Let him have is fun and then when he comes back to you and tells you that he should have coated it, then you can give him that "I told you so" look.

Love to, but he can't at his place. So it's gotta be here, and ya know I gotta help :)

time for a detail party at ron's driveway detail center.:rockon
(before it's 90 degrees at 0800 hrs again would be nice)

I'm all for wax, but have learned not to use it around stripes and clear bras. This is because, it's almost impossible to wax the whole area without getting some wax in the edges. Once the wax is there, it's quite difficult to impossible to safely remove.

If it was me, I'd use something clear like HydroMax or a WOWA sealant on those panels.

He just wants to rub his car (I mean this in a good way with an acceptable tone); Tell him to tape off the graphics if he's dead-set on waxing.

Agreed, but ya know it just keeps saying "care for me , oh wasters".......

Ultima Paint Guard Plus might be perfect for something like this Ron.....
