I had one break and they tried blaming me and my packing, but I always use lots of packing and filler material / then when they sent me the remaining items back they were just strewn in a box with no filler material or anything, just rolling and bouncing around :angry talk about hippocritical (or is that the whaler)

Hmmm......Seems like a few detailing supply companies are switching from UPS to Fed Ex. I wonder how they rate for international orders? (UPS can charge more to "cross the border" (brokerage fees)than the combined cost of the product, shipping and duties!! And this is all extra out of the recepient's pocket!!)

I guess I should look into Fed Ex one of these days. The drop-off location isn't as convienient, but for better price and service, it may be a good idea. The UPS guy dropped off six boxes in my garage yesterday enveneing (I had the garage open with all intention of washing my car), but he never knocked or rang the bell to let me know I had a delivery. :dunno

The problem with FedEx is that they can't really handle the volume that UPS does. I was working for a company that used UPS when they went on strike several years ago. FedEx stopped accepting packages from us. We had no other real shipping options. It was terrible. They just aren't as big as brown. However, they mangle my packages less than brown does. lol I'm a USPS kinda guy lately. The UPS Store screwed me so I won't use them anymore. "UPS" stands for "UP yourS" I think.

Really? Ive always seen Fed-Ex as a huge company. Heck, for awhile I wanted to go work for their "Custom Critical" department. Non-stop action baby.

Actually Fedex has changed alot within the last couple years. They have a seperate Freight Division and everything else that UPS has, the just do not have as many locations. BUT, with fedex all ground transportation is done by truck (2 drivers), I was told by my Rep which means less handling of the packages ( UPS Uses railway ). I think that makes a big difference in missing and broken packages.

(ups) pickup(1)--->sort facility(2)--->truck(3)--->railway(4) (possibly more than once)--->truck(5)--->sort facility(6)--->out for delivery(7) Could be more times handled if far away

(fedex) pickup(1)--->sort facility(2)--->truck(3)--->sort facility(4)--->out for delivery(5)

After doing a little more research I think I have to suggest that Steve goes back to UPS. I can just see this happening to him next....

Glad to see your doing well.

Give Fed x a try ....we ship alot here at our co. and use both , but The Fed has given us excellent service and is becoming our primary shipper.

UPS seem's to be having a chip on their shoulder about never their fault with us too.

Steve, Info & order coming your way soon !!

:wait Just found out my package might have come in from FedEx. To bad, they took 1 week for an expected time of 2 days. Very weird.
