switching from zaino to duragloss...have questions

i love zaino....i really do but im not a fan of always having to order it. i used DG in the past and loved it and im going back.



what products should i use and in what order for the best shine with DG?

well i like using quality products that i can buy locally. zaino was the exception.





what would you reccomend in conjunction with DG105 and AW?



FYI i use the professional line of meguiars polishes as well (diamond cut etc) with my PC

I havent used any duragloss products just read good things about those two products. Its hard to build up a good arsenal locally. If you dont mind buying online theres better products to be had. I dont think you can build up a decent arsenal of products with just duragloss stuff. Just my opinion though.

how about this applied with my PC:



1. meguiars diamond cut polish-orange pad

2. 50/50 wipe down

3. DG #601bonding agent-by hand

4. DG #671-white pad

5. DG #105-black polish pad

6. DG AW

the DG line is cheap enough that its worth a shot. i used to use the #671 and #104 paste wax and AW on my wife's black 04 audi A4 and i got nothing but stares and compliments on how the car looked wet.

PM Al-53. He is quite knowledgeable in DG products.



Based on my reading, I'm fairly confident that 671 should precede the 601 bonding agent. I'm not sure, however, whether you need to follow 671 with a 50/50 wipedown or not. Ask Al.



If I recall correctly, Al recommends that 105 be applied by hand.



And allow 105 to cure 24 hours before applying either a second coat of 105 or Aquawax.

DG 501 with white pad (if moderate swirls) black pad (no swirls) speed 3 (assuming you are using a pc) If you can let this cure 12-24 hours that would be best



DG 601

DG 105 by hand, again, let cure 12-24 hours

DG AW



This combo really produces superb results on a properly prepped vehicle
