Yeah, you're right. :nixweiss I think I'd work an area about half that size.

superstring said:Yeah I agree. But since this thread has risen from the dead, I'll rephrase my original question, which is: which is more responsible for the final "look", the "pre-wax cleaner" or the wax itself?? I'm not talking about the polishing; I'm sure you could apply Swissvax or Zymol or whatever over a properly polished surface and achieve the same level of "bonding" without the dedicated cleaners. But the "cleaners" (SV CF, HD Cleanse etc.) would seem to act more like glazes than cleaners. And therein lies the rub (that's supposed to be a joke, guys) :nervous:![]()

my basic question: Is the cleaner fluid necessary before SV wax? If so, then waxing is a 2 step process. With that time involved, I may stick to Zaino for most cars.
white gecko 99 said:So, a clean surface via IPA wipedown, will be fine to apply the wax. The CF will give it that extra what, 1-5% better shine/depth/color/clarity?

I am sure the Consorso is gone in a matter of days, hence the Zaino under to protect. Ill never leave Zaino.
