swissol wax and porter cable ?

i have just ordered myself a pc and i am just wondering if it is possible use swissol wax on the pads.



the wax is not a liquid its more a solid.



if this is possible what is the bet method to apply.

I've never used Swissol before, but it is easy to use a paste wax with a PC although there are few benefits to doing so. There are two ways you can do this:



1. Use a knife to cut the wax out of the container. Turn on your PC and hold the wax against the pad making sure to cover the whole pad. Use the PC to apply the wax to the car.



2. Rub a foam hand applicator against your wax. Rub the applicator against your foam PC pad until the pad is covered with wax. Use the PC to apply the wax to the car.



Some paste waxes work better with a PC than others, but never having used Swissol I can't advise you on whether this is a good wax to use with a PC. When I think about the product waste and added effort for no real benefit I just stick with hand application.



By the way, there may not be a Swissol brand anymore. Check this out . . .

Are you serious! Applying a solid wax by machine?! I'm not trying to cause a problem but I never heard of this before. Just in thinking about doing so makes me believe thats a coplete waste of product. Also by applying a scoop of wax to a pc pad and rubbing it in, wouldn't be hard to buff off? just my two cents.
 
Iroc, it is quite common to apply a paste wax with a PC. Some jars even allow the wax to pop/slide out, so that you can smear the pad with the jar like a lipstick.



The application is easy and product waste is limited because you can apply more uniform, thin layers with the machine. Of course it is beneficial when you prime the pad with a QD.
 
I use P21s, Natty's Blue, Pinnacle, all in form of paste with no problem. I prefer to use paste wax by PC rather than hand application. It's easier to spread the product evenly and you can control just how much you want to put your product on. SO GO FOR IT.

I noticed that p21s is like that it pops right out of the jar. What other waxes do this?
