Ok i am about to get a PC (finally) i have a rotary but its about to go out and wanted something alittle easier. The swirls on my gf's car are about like this maybe a little lighter.

I think im going to buy the LC CCS pads the Yellow, Orange, White and maybe black, or the same in the Flat pads.

I am wondering what products i should use and what sequence. Here is what i have now and if i should get something else let me know (possible thinking about the XMT line).

thanks in advance.

You could use the SSR 2 with a polishing pad (white) or the PP on a cutting pad (orange) if the SSR 2 didn't get them out. They look light and you said they were lighter so the ssr 2 should do the trick.

Using the PB line

-Wash
-Dry
-Clay
-Wash again, if you use s+w as clay lube you wont have to wash again
-polish with the ssr 2 on a white pad or the pp with an orange pad
-final polish with PP on a white pad (or pwc pwcb pws)
-top with sealant or wax of your choice (Ex Ex-P Nattys line or whatever you think looks good)

hope this helped :bigups

(never used the meg so i don't know how that will work. I do know how the pb line works though lol)

Pockets hit it on the nose...The only thing I would say different is with the SSR2, I would start with a cutting pad....work that product real well and in small areas...like quarter panel at a time...Then if you have some lighter cut polish I would then use that with the polishing pad.....when I want to take swirls out I cut then polish

Thanks :thanks:) yea you could use a cutting pad with the 2 to start off with but i would try using a polishing pad first (in a little area) and if that take off the swirls then you dont have to use such an aggressive approach if that doesn't work then step up to a cutting pad like dave said.

I would definetly go with the polishing pad first. Always work from least to more agressive is deemed necassary.

The swirls don't look to bad, I think like everyone else said SSR2 and a polishing pad should take care of that nicely.

thanks guys it looks like im going to get some more ssr2 and some ssr1.....do you think i could use the pro polish with a polish pad after the ssr2?
