Swirl Marks-What to do? Help

I noticed some tar and bug marks on the hood on my new Z. So I went to AutoZone and bought TurtleWax Bug and Tar remover and a bug and tar sponge. Both products state that they are safe and won't scratch the paint. Well I did use a circular motion when trying to remove the marks. Later I noticed swirl marks in a few areas. What should I do? What is the best way to remove them? Is it really even possible to do remove them completely? I am located in Washington DC any recomendations for a detailer?

i would use a dual action polisherif you have one with a foam pad and some polish green pad then blue then wax. if that doesnt work try some compund then follow with polish

If the scratches are minor, and you don't have a polisher, you can try some Meg's ScratchX by hand. Below is a link that shows how to use it:

You should be able to buy ScratchX locally, but be sure to wax when you are finished to add some protection.

I did the exact same thing with the exact same products. The bug and tar sponge is NOT safe. Meguiars Scratch X worked perfectly!!
