Surface Science paint sealant

Can someone tell me if paint treated by Surface Sealant will prevent 3M tape from adhering to the paint?


 


My motorcycle dealer applied it to my new saddlebag as he thought the previous one was treated and it was not. The bike mfg makes a brake light/turn signal that attaches to the saddlebag with 3M adhesive tape and now I'm concern that I won't be able to attach it the bag because of the sealant.

Take some alcohol or all purpose cleaner/degreaser and give it a wipe. Surface Sealant will be history.
