Surface prep before clear bra application?

Hi all! I'm getting the front portion of my hood covered in clear bra and need some advices on how to prep the surface before the installer does their thing. Here is what I was thinking.

1. Wash
2. Clay
3. Polish
4. Drive to installer location
4. Apply 50 percent alcohol mix gently with microfiber towel to remove residual polish
5. Allow installer to apply clear bra

My main concern is if there are light swirls after the Cleaning with alcohol, will they show up under the clear bra? Or will the adhesive from the clear bra and the clear bra itself fill and cover them?

Ps. Random question: does clear bra increase uv protection for the clear coat and paint under it?

Clear bra has some masking effect of swirls. Search youtube.

You should consult your installer because they might be doing some of these steps for you, like the alcohol prep.

Just polish it up the best you want it to be.
The Installer will want to wipe it down with something he uses to make the contact the best..
Make sure he uses a nice, clean, microfiber towel and tell him to not scratch it or hurt it..
The ClearBra will be installed after they spray a soap solution all over it and slide it on.
Make sure they go under the edges and cut if off under there..
Make sure they absolutely do NOT do any cutting of the clearbra on the top of the hood..
Since its not optically clear because its plastic and not glass, it might hide some stuff, but after you do this you will then be wanting to know if you can correct the marks that get on the top of it..
Good luck !

PPF actually hides a lot IME.

Here is a client that had it applied over he's swirled finish
