Surf City and OID question

Need some QD soon, I have read nothing but good things about OID but Im curious about the offerings from Surf City. what is the diffrence between the Speed Demon and Hot rod detailers? Which is better? and lastly, how do they compair to OID?
 
The speed demon QD has carnauba in it I believe while the hotrod QD is a purely synthetic QD with UV protection.



I can't compare the two since I've never used any of surf citys products but I will tell you that you won't be dissapointed if you go with OID.



If you look at it from a price perspective, the hotrod QD is about $50 shipped for a gallon (4L to be exact) while you can get 32oz of OID for like $15 which will make a gallon. Or if you pay $50 for the gallon of OID your actually getting 4 gallons. IMO OID far outperforms its price bracket.
 
I *really* like the Surf City detailers. The speed demon is easy to use, cleans great, and leaves some wax behind. The Hot Rod cleans great as well, and leaves behind a pretty shine. They're both top notch IMO.



OID is a nice detailer, too. Can't go wrong with any of them.
