This was the same owner as the Supercharged Yukon I posted a while ago. I think he really likes superchargers. lol He also has a new GTO, but thats just tuboed. lol
This Tacoma is a commuter (about 500miles a week) through areas with a lot of bugs and by a garbage dump that usually has garbage on the road (made for some nasty wheel wells and front). It is lifted a couple of inches and has a TRD supercharger. It was a full exterior detail and under the hood clean up of a busted power steering. The worst part of the detail was the fact that I have a cold, and detailing when your sick, sucks! But I didn't want to cancel because of it.
Process:
Engine Compartment:
Cover electricals with foil
Spray down engine and under side of hood with Simple Green (4:1)
Scrub with brush, use old wash mitt on underside of hood.
Rinse with water
Repeat again
Run engine to dry
Dress with CGs Liquid Extreme Shine
Sealed under hood and other painted parts with OCW
Paint:
Wash with NXT
Clay like crazy
Polish with CGs Lazer Buff
Seal with CGs Extreme Top Coat Sealant (super slick and very easy to remove)
Clean door jambs
Seal with OCW
BnB on tires
303 on handles and rear bumper top
Fender flares with CGs Liquid Extreme Shine
I wasn't able to get any good after shots in any kinda sun light, because its dark by 4:30pm now. :furious:
