Super Glue on my paint

Acetone. Just try not to get it onto the paint too much. Rewax the area afterwards.

*edit - not your wife's nail polish remover, though. I'm talking about the full strength stuff that comes in metal cans.

hrmm..i mean i tried the stuff from CVS..hrmm..well i'm gonna go pick up that super glue remover product tom. and see how that work. I have a feeling it'll take off the glue..if not..nitrometh is next.

So i got the superglue remover..It works pretty well. I did one pass with it and it looks off a good amount of the glue..but I'm not sure if it's killing my clearcoat too. The place where the glue was is dull down..but i dont know if that the residue or lack of a clear coat. So I dont know if i should do 1 more pass of the remover or just leave it.

I actually used nail polish remover on some superglue i spilled on the roof of my brothers black car and it took it right off with little effort.

Of course I had just sealed and waxed it the day before.. so maybe that helped prevent the glue from bonding to the paint?

well im working it slowly..and it's comming off..:) very happy..as i get it off..i'm applying wax to protect it till i get my car detailed..
