Sunday's Details - v. Modded 350Z and a Blood Red XKR

Thanks Dean...I have taken a liking to photography since I have begun detailing :)

AZ Ferrari Man: 3-4 hrs per car (ext only)...VM on the wheels. $100-120 per car

zesty: Thanks man. Injen exhaust and a test pipe (no cats)...VERY loud, but mean :D

Thanks Chee.

Focused: Thank you! 2.5 and a cutting pad cut up the ugly buffer swirls and deep swirls from poor washing skills. It left a deeper/wetter finish with minor micro-marring (buffer swirls). It was imperative to follow up with a finer polish to leave the shine at it's peak.

With a PC it's probably all different :)

OK, cars look great thanks for the PM! Do you think that applying all the PB products (EX, EX-P,natty's) by hand is better than a PC 7424? And you didn't do any interior detailing? This was a striclty ext job?
(trying to figure out pricing)

AZ Ferrari: I always do polishes/glazes by machine on paint. All LSP's (wax/sealant) is done by hand. The interior's were not done.

Thanks John :)

Very impressive...with that type of quality work, it brings "detailing" a good rep. Thank you Sean for the posts and 'regimens'.

Still amazed on your Jetta transformation:O

So I'm a little confused on that Menzerna CermiClear stuff. I can't seem to find it anywhere, is it comparable to FPII or IP? Or the PowerGloss? Also, how long does it to apply, Intensive Polish, FP2, Finishing Touch Glaze (by PC), and FMJ by hand on your average mid size sedan, for example?

Thanks, just trying to figure out how long this'll take me, so I know what to charge....Is $150 too much for a weekend/summer detailer to charge for the following package?

Wash (4*)
Clay (sonus)
Wheel/Tire, then dressing (Eimann Fabrik/4*)
Polish (FP2)
Glaze (FTG)
Sealant (FMJ by hand)
Glass treated (invisible glass, then RainX)
Polishing of all metal (Luster/Wenol)
Plastic/Trim treated

Vacuum
Interior Cleaned
Carpet Shampood (Oxy)
Upholstery Cleaned
Vinyl/Plastic Protected/Dressed

So basically a full exterior/interior detail? I would charge extra for Swirls, oxidation (PowerGloss), Leather Cleaning and Conditioning, etc.

Sorry about hi-jacking your thread!!!

Thanks,
Carl

Both cars look amazing. Don't you just love it when you have to correct the "work" of another detailer. Whoever swirled that Jag should be banned from operating a buffer.

And that Z kicks a*s! SO SICK!
