There were many scretches that the ssr2.5 couldn't get rid of.

I want my Makita NOW! :D

Again, I want to thank Thomas for the great work he did on my car! It looks BEAUTIFUL! As we were driving home, my wife called me on my cell phone (she was following me since we picked up the car from Thomas) to say that she couldn't believe how shiny the car was. Now THAT is a compliment. Me, I noticed how much deeper the color was, and the smooth, shiny appearance of the paint. If anything, the pictures don't do it justice!

Thanks Thomas!

Very nice detail and pictures. I really like the shot of the clouds off the trunk lid, very

In case you haven't noticed, the autopia gallery now allows 6MB of pictures. :xyxthumbs

Unfortunately, the front fender that is all distorted (wish it was just a reflection!). It is a plastic bumper, and there is a styrofoam piece under it to give it shape, but the styrofoam piece keeps moving. That's on my list of things to tackle on the car!

Glad you like Thomas' work. You can see some other pics that I took, including some of the car with the top down, on my homepage.

aw, all i see if red x's. i think photobucket is having some issues. :(

but....i'm sure thomas did an awesome job, as usual. ;) and i'm sure jim will keep it this nice too. :)

I'm sure gonna try to keep the car looking this good! Thomas, sorry, it clouded over by the time I got home tonight, and unfortunately my car will be out in the remnants of hurricane Jeanne. BUT, for those who want to see some good before and after comparisons, check out the following pics (more at My Homepage ):

hirosh - you should see it now. Photobucket is fixed.

Scottwax - thanks. I have used autopia for pictures last week, but it takes too long to upload. Photobucket is about 5 seconds. It is also free.

roscoe54 - thanks and agree. Great products to work with.

MattZ28 - thanks

edschwab1 - you you too, and I'd like to see it as well.

JimGo - thanks Jim. I want to put some Natty's on the car for you. I can just come to your work and Q&W the car in the parking lot (if I am allowed) and apply the wax for you on a sunny day. Then take pictures. Maybe wednesday? Can you ask if I can do it? I don't need any water or anything, but don't want to get arrested. :D

Let me know.

Thomas,

My work parking garage allows others to have their cars washed in the garage, so I don't think it will be a problem. Drop me an E-mail or call me and we can figure out a good time (I'm there most of the day, so it shouldn't be a big deal!).

Here are some more pictures.

I went through 4 yellow cutting pads before finishing with ssr2.5

I did 2 passes with it on the hood and trunk, yet some (lots actually) scretches didin't come out. Not sure if another pass would have helped since at times I would just keep the pc in one spot while pressing down fairly hard on 6 and still nothing. These scretches were not felt by my nail. But many of them I got rid of. I am not sure if Mike realizes it, because there are gone now. In any case, the ssr2.5 did remove swirls much better then anything I have ever tried. It is my new "go to get rid of them" product. PwC is also very easy to use, but I will need to experiment a little more with it.

Now I just have to apply Natty's to the paint and see if it makes a big difference on dark green paint.

I used AA on the tires for the first time.

the top received another thick coat of 303.

Forecast is promising so we shall see the truth.

I think I will order a bottle of ssr3 to play with.
