Suggestions on a new Vacuum?

Thanks for the info T-Dawg. That looks like a sweet machine.

How can you tell how many inches lift vacuum has?

I have a ridgid 6.5 stainless steel. Because Im on my 3rd one I dont really recommend it on its durability .Its only lasted me about 1.5 years on average with heavy usage. Its very big and the bags are expensive.

Why then do I love it :DIt has fantastic suction power , you can carry brushes and store things you need in the top of it and its a very very nice looking machine. I get compliments from customers all the time on it.

Also when it dies I can go to my home depot and replace it quickly and have it going the next day and not have to put the whole thing together again.

Its not very practical if your looking for something small its NOT for you.

I had a nice contractor stainless 6.0 that lasted me 5 years . That was really nice too.

metro vac, can it be used on wet carpet? all i could find on it says it cant.. im going for the vaporclean gaia. i want a new wet vac around 100" of lift, and a steamer so i decided the gaia should hit those requirements also has a extractor function for those "hard" to defeat stains. And ok 750 sounds high but u add all those tools up and its all in one and time is money so its a win win. Any other suggestion? there has to be some incredible stuff you pro's you out there...

:-?

I have a Lowes shop vac that I recently upgraded the hose to contractor grade (1.5" nice rubber one) and new filter. I don't know why I waited so long for that hose!
